Homemade Edible Gifts + Free Gift Tag Printables

Hey Reader!

I've always loved to give homemade gifts, especially when they're edible. 😍

It's an easy way to treat people to something unique, plus you get to express your creative side without too much work.

Today I'm getting you started with a few recipe ideas from my website, along with tags and labels to go with them. Use card stock for the tags, punch a hole in the corner, and tie them onto a pretty container with ribbon or twine. Print the labels on sticker paper.

Buttermilk Pancake Mix

This is my tried-and-true pancake recipe that makes the lightest, fluffiest stack. Mix the dry ingredients, package into a container, then attach the recipe tag with the instructions.

Italian Hot Chocolate Mix

This hot chocolate recipe makes an insanely thick and rich drink. It’s an indulgent pleasure to enjoy it out of a mug, or eat with a spoon! Mix the dry ingredients, package into a container, then attach the recipe tag with the instructions.

Homemade Spice Blends

Mixing your own spice blends is so worth it! I created a mini e-book with six of my favorite, everyday blends. Package your favorites into jars and attach the labels below.

Enjoy!

Hi Reader, I make some version of tomato sauce every. single. week. Usually it’s a quick one, sometimes it turns into something a little more involved β€” but it always starts the same way: good canned tomatoes (lately I'm using this brand from California), olive oil, garlic, and a little attention. This week I’m leaning into marinara as a starting point for dinner, with a few recipes from the archive that build on it in different ways β€” roasted vegetable lasagna, crisp breaded baked eggplant,...

Chicken breasts in a chicken piccata are garnished with capers, parsley, and lemon slices. The dish is served in a white pan on a light surface, with a spoon resting in the sauce.

Hi Reader, Chicken shows up in my everyday cooking more than almost anything else β€” partly because it’s versatile, but mostly because it’s one of the easiest ways for me create a satisfying dinner without a lot of planning. I pulled together a handful of favorite chicken recipes from the archive to share with you, along with a new one I just published that exceeded my expectations β€” baked chicken with leeks and potatoes, where the vegetables cook right underneath the chicken and soak up all...

Hi Reader, I'm not the best meal planner, to be honest πŸ˜‰. Dinner is often the recipe I tested that day or whatever I can scoop out of the fridge and toss with pasta. But I know how satisfying it can be to have a plan. Being flexible is key, and using components from one meal in a second one is even better. Let me know if this recipe plan is helpful, and I'll create more! Day 1: If you’ve never attempted to roast a whole chicken, this one stuffed with garlic and herbs is a where to start. Use...
