I made you a meal plan!

Hi Reader,

I'm not the best meal planner, to be honest 😉.

Dinner is often the recipe I tested that day or whatever I can scoop out of the fridge and toss with pasta.

But I know how satisfying it can be to have a plan. Being flexible is key, and using components from one meal in a second one is even better.

Let me know if this recipe plan is helpful, and I'll create more!

Day 1: If you’ve never attempted to roast a whole chicken, this one stuffed with garlic and herbs is a where to start. Use leftovers to make tomorrow's gnocchi soup.

Day 2: Made without cream, milk, or butter, this soup is a meal-in-a-bowl, full of tender chicken, chunky veggies, and potato gnocchi in a lemon-kissed chicken broth.

Day 3: My classic marinara sauce can be prepared with fresh tomatoes or canned tomatoes, along with seasonings, olive oil, and basil. This quick sauce is ready to serve in about 25 minutes over your fave pasta.

Day 4: A one-dish dinner that’s perfect for a busy weeknight. This dish combines cannellini beans, leafy greens, Italian sausage, and tomato marinara sauce from the day before, topped with cheese and toasted breadcrumbs.

Day 5: This delicious grain bowl/salad with sweet potatoes is a big hit with my readers — it’s hearty enough to serve as a meatless main dish for dinner and lunch the next day.

Hi Reader, When people find out I cook professionally, they always assume I’m planning some elaborate Thanksgiving feast. The truth is that I keep things very simple. It’s easy to get stressed about this holiday — I’m not surprised. Cooking a big centerpiece (the turkey!) surrounded by multiple side dishes that all need to be ready at the same time is no small feat. So I keep it easy: A roasted turkey with simple pan gravy, a baked casserole (usually sweet potato), a creamy potato gratin,...

Hey Reader! Today I'm getting you started with a few recipe ideas from my website, along with tags and labels to go with them. Use card stock for the tags, punch a hole in the corner, and tie them onto a pretty container with ribbon or twine. Print the labels on sticker paper. Buttermilk Pancake Mix...

Hi Reader, If you're looking for a new way to cook salmon, check out these glazed salmon fillets that are pan-fried and finished in the oven. which helps keep them juicy. I top the fish with a savory maple and Dijon mustard glaze — you can taste all the flavor in every forkful. Quick and easy to cook: The 15-minute process involves a 5-minute pan-sear on top of the stove, then 5 more minutes in a hot oven to finish cooking. Balanced flavors: The glaze is pleasingly sweet and tangy, with a...
